This is Ruby. Ruby is Hailey's Pine Tree. Our assignment is to keep Ruby alive until after spring break. SHEESH. It feels like the time Leila presented me with a tree that Doug gave her when he was 6 years old and told me to keep it alive. I started hyperventilating. Suffice it to say, the Dr. Suess tree is Doug's responsibility. And Ruby is Hailey's. Do not trust me with living things-- except little humans.

What a fun project. Two years ago, Bianca got a little oak seedling that we planted in our yard and it's still alive. Bianca named her "Acorn-elia". Good luck!
oh boy...I have a black thumb too!
